Ballyfermot Primary Health Care Centre is a state of the art Primary and Mental Healthcare Centre providing healthcare services for both adults and children in South West Dublin. In addition one of the largest and most modern HSE run crèches is located within the same site. This project won an International Sustainability Award for Green Good Design.

Rockbrook were required to provide a modern, robust lighting control system for the new facility with an automated emergency light testing facility and a strong focus on energy savings through constant light level control and the use of presence detection.

A KNX/ DALI System was used which open protocol and ensures the building is future proofed was installed. The system will facilitate and automatically adjust in order to maintain optimal lighting conditions for patients and personnel while optimising energy usage.

It has a self-contained emergency lighting system, specific lighting management and control functions and a highly detailed and graphically rich front end to allow rapid resolution of control system faults and extensive reporting functions.
